Research on Workplace Bullying

My name is Lisa DeSanti and I recently completed my PhD at Fielding Graduate University, having conducted research on workplace bullying.

My particular focus is in understanding the alleged perpetrator's experience.  As a relatively new field of study, what we "know" about workplace bullying is based primarily on victim, target, bystander, and witness accounts. Largely absent from current research is the alleged bully's voice - an integral perspective to developing a fuller, more balanced understanding of a dynamic of which no workplace is immune.
